THE
GREAT GAME, 2002
U.S. Army troop movement
and Air Force sortie data from the conflict in Afghanistan is collected
from the Department of Defense and played back in a 3d game-like interface.
The software is displayed on a monitor mounted to a child's arcade ride.
A seperate coin operated arcade cabinet controls the display and the joystick
movements of the mechanized kiddie ride, in a mockery of the remote controlled
and so called "bloodless" warfare of the future. |
